The alternatively protected analogue Ddz-T103a was prepared using the same procedure with an overall yield of 55% [1.4 g Ddz(2RMe)opy18 was obtained starting from 1 g (5.8 mmol) of 103-1]. Synthesis of the Boc-T103b stereoisomer proceeds similarly, but starting from R-(-)-1,2-propanediol.TLC: Rf: 0.3 (100% EtOAc)
